  • Medical and trauma assessment in prehospital settings
  • Safe patient retrieval and transport
  • Human factors and crew resource management
  • Mass-casualty and disaster triage
  • Clinical leadership and out-of-hospital decision-making

September 2026: The third delivery of this course with updated curriculum and online learning integration.

Program 2

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Aeromedical Doctors & Nurses

Aeromedical Critical Care Education

In 2023, NEMA aeromedical clinicians completed 10 days of intensive face-to-face training in aeromedical transport and critical care.

2024 included 5 days of advanced training with high-fidelity patient simulation to strengthen capabilities in out-of-hospital critical care.

Planning is underway for online learning modules to complement in-person training and create a sustainable national education pathway for aeromedical clinicians.

Where the project has delivered training so far, lives are being saved, patient outcomes have improved, and I expect this will continue as the project is implemented nationally.” — Mongolian Society for Emergency Medicine, 2023

Why Our Programs Matter

Emergency services systems cannot improve with equipment alone.

We deliver education and training that is:

  • Context-specific – aligned to local EMS needs
  • Sustainable – supports long-term system development
  • Integrated – works with government ministries, ambulance services, hospital networks, fire and police services, and local leaders

Our programs strengthen prehospital care and improve patient outcomes while creating scalable systems.
